This project was completed by one of my friends (Kim). When I saw what she had done, I just had to share it on my website!
This is a fun and easy DIY project that you can complete in an afternoon. Transform your window with a colorful stained glass effect that lets light through. The effect can be easily wiped away when you are ready for a new look. Painters tape and chalk markers are all you need!

Instructions:
- Clean your window.
- Select whichever width painter’s tape you wish. Tape window in various patterns. Try to avoid all the same shapes and sizes.
- Use the chisel side of your chalk markers. Color in the shapes. You may need to cap and reshake your marker depending on the sizes of your shapes.
- Try not to go over where you have already colored, as it will take off the chalk. If you make a mistake, you can just wipe off with a paper towel and try again.
- Let the chalk dry, about an hour and then peel off the tape.
That’s it! Enjoy for as long as you want. It’s not permanent.
